Meet Dr. Brielle
Dr. Brielle Salamone is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, licensed acupuncturist and holistic beauty practitioner based in San Diego, California.
Originally from New Jersey, she grew up with a holistic view of health thanks to her father, who is a chiropractor. She graduated from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, with a double major in Graphic Design and Photography and a minor in Marketing. After college, she spent a year in the corporate world before realizing it wasn’t where she was meant to be.
Her journey into Chinese medicine began while she was trying to heal her own skin. What started as a search for acne solutions became a deep discovery of the body’s ability to heal itself. Moved by how profoundly Chinese medicine improved her skin and overall wellbeing, she made the bold decision to move across the country to study it at Pacific College of Health & Sciences in San Diego.
While in school, she became fascinated by the Eastern philosophy of longevity and aging, how it focuses on balance, prevention, and inner vitality rather than fear or quick fixes. After taking a cosmetic acupuncture elective, she fell in love with the idea of merging Eastern medicine with modern beauty practices. She saw how Western beauty culture often shames women into fearing the natural aging process and felt called to create an alternative, a space where women can age naturally and confidently, free from pressure or judgment.
Dr. Brielle went on to extensively study facial rejuvenation through the lens of Chinese medicine under renowned cosmetic acupuncturist Michelle Gellis, where she deepened her expertise in facial acupuncture, neuromuscular techniques, and holistic anti-aging practices.
At The Rejuv Room, Dr. Brielle blends ancient wisdom with modern technique to help women feel radiant, balanced, and empowered in their own skin. She believes beauty should be a reflection of health and harmony, not a reaction to insecurity.
In her free time, she loves doing yoga, exploring local farmers markets, and discovering new restaurants. She’s a self-proclaimed foodie who believes nourishment should be both joyful and delicious.
